License agreement (EULA)
Last updated Oct 28, 2026
1. Who agrees to what
This agreement is between you and the provider named in the imprint ("we"). By installing or using GrannyBakes AI ("the app") you accept it. If you don't, please don't install the app.
2. What you may do
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the app on PCs you use. While the app is free, there is no limit on the number of your own PCs. When paid licenses start, a license covers one person on up to two PCs: the first two PCs that activate the key. Those two PCs stay linked to the license for as long as it runs, and it can't be moved to another PC.
3. What you may not do
- Sell, rent, lend or redistribute the app, or offer it as a service to others.
- Remove or change notices about authorship or licenses.
- Reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it regardless of this agreement.
- Use the app to break the law or anyone else's rights.
4. Your AI provider and your content
The app works with an account and API key you have with an AI provider (today OpenAI). That provider's terms apply between you and them, and you pay them for what you use. You are responsible for what you send to the provider and for how you use what it returns. AI answers can be wrong: check anything important before you rely on it.
5. Your data
Your bakers, recipes, chats and files belong to you and stay on your PC. See the privacy policy.
6. Other people's components
The app includes open-source components under their own licenses. Their license texts are installed with the app, and those licenses apply to those components.
7. Warranty and liability
We work hard to make the app reliable, but we provide it as it is. As far as the law allows, we give no further warranty and are not liable for indirect damage, lost data you didn't back up, AI provider costs or the content of AI answers. Nothing in this agreement limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
8. Updates and changes
The app updates itself to fix problems and add features. If this agreement changes, we'll say so in the app's What's new and on this page.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. If you break this agreement, your right to use the app ends; your data on your PC stays yours.
10. Applicable law
The law of the provider's country (see the imprint) applies, without taking away the protection that the law of your own country gives you as a consumer.
