The story
Why I made GrannyBakes
I'm a developer. At first I just wanted to learn AI without scrolling the internet for hours, so I put everything in one place where I could find it again and refresh my memory when I needed to. That became the Learn center.
Then I needed an easy way to test models: their prices, how many tokens a request really uses, and how their answers compare. I wanted to pick the best model for each job I do as a developer. That became the model cards, the Test Kitchen and the taste tests.
Once I understood AI and could compare models easily, I asked myself: what's next? With all of this in one place, I could start building AI helpers (agents) and workflows. The beauty is that every step of a workflow can use a different model, even from different providers, so each step gets the model that does that job best.
I added a cost estimate for every request, so you know what each answer cost and roughly how much is left on your key.
Today GrannyBakes works with OpenAI: add your API key and use any OpenAI model you like. More providers are coming. Connectors link your workflows to other apps. Telegram works today, and more will follow.
I made a few ready-made workflows so you can see what's possible. Try them, then build your own AI helpers for your daily needs. If you'd like more workflows or a new feature, use the feedback form. What I build next depends on you.
And yes, granny is just an analogy: the kitchen words help anyone understand AI.
